About Us

Farthest Corners is a mission-driven technology company dedicated to connecting individuals with physical disabilities to people who are willing to partner with them in daily life and shared adventure. Through a mobile application, Farthest Corners will match individuals with mobility disabilities to helpers who can assist them with everyday needs while also creating opportunities for deep relationships, travel, and shared experiences.

The vision for Farthest Corners was born from founder Lindsay Cochran’s lived experience growing up with a physical disability. From an early age, Lindsay and her family navigated life without a clear roadmap for independence, travel, or accessibility. Instead of accepting limitations, they learned to creatively solve challenges and pursue experiences many assumed were impossible—from attending concerts in inaccessible venues to skiing down mountains, hiking a Colorado 14er, and traveling internationally. Each of these experiences was made possible through the support of trusted friends who partnered with Lindsay in everyday life and adventure.

When Lindsay met co-founder Emery Stewart in college, that spirit of partnership and creativity deepened through their friendship. Together they began to imagine what life could look like if more individuals with disabilities had access to the same type of supportive relationships that made these experiences possible. That vision became the foundation of Farthest Corners.
